Meet the fishes

so my latest adventure... a fish pedicure...

yes i did say fish pedicure...

okay... there are these fish known as the dr fish original from the area surrounding Turkey... These fish live in very warm spa pools that have limited food supply - so over time evolution kicked in and they now live on the skin cells sloughed off of other fish...

for generations locals knew that these dr fish had a positive effect on the skin...

The sensation of these little fish nibbling on the feet is different, strange, weird, freaky, odd. How many adjectives can I use... it sort of feels like pins and needles... the first reaction is to pull your feet away... after 30 seconds or so you sort of get used to it... until your brain starts thinking again about whats happening.

Now i am not a mani pedi kind of girl but trying something unique - oh yeah! that is what life is about...

glad I did it... would do it again and btw my feet have never been so soft...

Oh one thing i should also mention... the pools in Turkey - it is not just your feet you put in... rather the whole body! Now I dont know about you but the there are just some places I do NOT want a fish nibbling *grin*
